A Satisfactory Ending for BRIGHTEK at the Hong Kong Autumn Lighting Exhibition

The Hong Kong Autumn Lighting Exhibition was hosted by Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), bringing together over 31 countries and regions with a total of 1,788 companies involved in this exhibition. The number of companies involved in this years’ exhibition has broken its record, with an increase of 14% from Last year. Countries that have participated for their first time at Hong Kong include Brazil, Hungary, New Zealand and Poland.

The Size of the HK Autumn lighting Exhibition compared to exhibitions world-wide in the same field is Number One in Asia and second in the world. HKTDC has used connections through 40 plus overseas agencies to bring together over 4,000 buyers to visit this exhibition. As the Exhibition steps into its 11th year anniversary, the products its exhibits cover a higher degree or areas, including LED lighting, Environmental Lighting, House Hold and Commercial lightings, Outdoor lighting, Festival lighting and even lighting accessories. New to the Exhibition this year included companies like Philips, Osram, MEGAMAN, Royal Doulton, Bright, A.A.G.Stucchi, Neo-Neon, Citizen, CREE etc. In consideration of the Market expressing more and more demand for Environmental Lightings, the exhibition has yet set up sections for Green Lighting and LED lighting, which has each attracted 164 and 440 companies providing more varieties for interested Buyers.

In the future years, the global demand for energy saving lighting products will increase significantly. Just taking a look at China, this year alone has installed over 2.5 million energy saving street lamps; Taiwan itself has invested approximately 28 Million HK dollars into LED street lamps. Clearly, the market for Environmental lighting has enormous potential.
